Gary Weber has been singing and playing guitar since high school (a long time ago). He studied classical guitar in Vermont and jazz and blues guitar in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He played lead guitar for a number of rock bands in Northeast Wisconsin and formed some folk guitar groups after college. He is one of a few solo artists that have headlined at venues such as Artstreet (Green Bay, Wisconsin) and His Oasis (Plainfield, Wisconsin) multiple times.
He plays a wide variety of acoustic oriented music but is best known for his ability to accurately duplicate the finger picking styling of James Taylor (if you ask him to play a James Taylor song he probably knows it). Gary plays quite a variety of other music also: Beatles, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkle, Eagles, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, The Who, David Bowie, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Elvis, Blues Brothers - and many others including some originals.
What sets Gary apart from many other artists is that he doesn't take short cuts and performs the music the way it was originally recorded (no matter how difficult it may be).
His acoustic show is perfect for parties(Private or public), hotel and motel lounges, coffeehouses, outdoor festivals and so much more.
